The Benefits Strategy & Development team is accountable for driving membership growth by expanding the Walmart+ value proposition through the creation of new member benefits and offers.
We are looking for a talented Director to design and drive the development and launch of Walmart+ benefits within the Core Retail & Services vertical. The ideal candidate is someone who can combine a member-first mindset with a bias for action to quickly drive results for our members and for the business. This individual must have the ability to get things done by influencing key stakeholders across a wide range of teams within Walmart and with external partners.
We are looking for someone who will think big, ruthlessly prioritize to focus on the highest impact efforts, and mobilize cross-functional partners to execute against an aggressive growth roadmap. This is a high visibility role with the ability to make a significant impact on our business goals.
What you'll do...
Lead new benefit development (from concept to validation, to production through launch) for select strategic verticals.
Partner with key internal stakeholders to identify customer insights and evaluate member economics that inform new benefits; Co-lead the benefits idea intake & governance process (with other Directors), collaborating with all levels of the organization to create ongoing feedback loop that supports future benefit development and fuels the enterprise flywheel.
Identify opportunities for external partnerships that could bring valued third-party benefits to Walmart+ members, and collaborate with Business Development & Partnerships team to secure the right partners.
Partner with product and technology teams to integrate benefits feature development into Walmart+ product roadmap.
Analyze business metrics and member behavior to ensure new benefits are being utilized and are adding value to Walmart+ members. Drive continuous optimization and improvement of existing benefits, securing buy-in from key stakeholders across the organization, including with executives.
Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open-Door Policy.

5 years' supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.
