Director of Merchandise Portfolio Finance and Planning – Sam’s Club

You’ll make an impact by:

• Managing omni-channel financial performance for the total Sam’s Merchandise Portfolio (over $60B in sales annually)

• Leveraging new tools and technologies (Power BI & Machine Learning) to provide key insights and thought leadership to senior leadership across merchandising

• Analyzing large data sets, including membership data, to get to powerful insights that help direct the focus of the business and drive value

• Wearing your CFO hat, communicating financial results and presenting trade-offs options to the merchandising leadership team

• Providing decision support on strategic initiatives to the Chief Merchant

• Maintaining a pulse on the business and proactively sharing risks & opportunities

• Building strong partnerships with the finance teams over the different Merchandise areas to root-cause opportunities and outline actions

• Helping tell the Sam’s Club story and shape investor facing materials

• Helping us align on a set of Omni-Channel performance objectives
