What you'll do...

What you will do:

The Real Estate Portfolio team is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to open new Walmart stores, negotiating property lease renewals, property management of our fleet of approximately 4,600 operating stores, and disposing of or developing our excess property.

As the Director Strategy, Process Improvement, Administration and Real Estate - Portfolio you will be responsible for:

• Developing and leading multiple projects by anticipating and understanding current process and value gaps; benchmarking industry best practices; utilizing multiple methodologies to leverage data to inform business decisions; ensuring data accuracy and credibility; adjusting approaches in response to changing business demands.

• Assessing the tools and processes used to manage our business; collecting business requirements, designing processes, building SOPs, and working with product and tech on solutions to enable associates to exceed customer expectations; maintaining tools & documentation.

• Creating and implementing standards to control project cost and timelines.

• Developing and implementing strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce by diagnosing capability gaps; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning; and leveraging the capabilities of new and existing talent.

• Cultivating an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices.

• Developing and leveraging internal and external partnerships and networks to maximize the achievement of business goals; engaging key stakeholders in the development, execution, and evaluation of appropriate business plans and initiatives; and supporting associate efforts in these areas.
