The Director of WIC/SNAP/EBT Compliance at Walmart is a critical thought-leadership role that requires experience with enhancing and maturing a compliance program and leading a team. Many WIC/SNAP/EBT recipients choose to use their benefits at Walmart. As the primary WIC/SNAP/EBT compliance representative, you’ll partner with Walmart merchants, operators, Legal and other stakeholders on existing and emerging business initiatives and risks associated with WIC/SNAP/EBT. This position reports to the Vice President over Consumer Protection, Product Safety and WIC/SNAP Compliance.
You’ll make an impact by:
Enhancing a compliance program that is risk-based by developing or refining the awareness and training, controls, monitoring and response strategies.
Collaborating with key business stakeholders on new business initiatives by identifying risks and providing guidance on any WIC/SNAP/EBT risks. Along those lines implementing controls, training, and monitoring to mitigate risks associated with the business initiative.
Leveraging multiple sources of data to prioritize monitoring activities and improve program performance, including third party monitoring, internal audit reports, risk assessments, and other key risk indicators.
Identifying ways to increase the impact and efficiency of the WIC/SNAP/EBT program, including automation and technologies that can be used to execute monitoring and controls.
Designing and evaluating performance metrics and reporting, ensuring transparency to leadership and key stakeholders, and continuing to drive overall program improvement.
