What you'll do...
As part of the Global Technology Platform Program Management organization, this role will be a crucial enabler of our multi cloud and data strategy. This leader will own the execution of strategic initiatives to accelerate enterprise-wide cloud and data platform services. You will also be accountable for success of delivering high priority initiatives in data platform domain. You will work collaboratively with product management and engineering teams to ensure on time delivery with quality results.
About the Global Technology Platform Program Management Team:
The Global Technology Platform Program Management Team focuses on the execution of strategic initiatives in Global Technology Platform organization with alignment to Walmart Global Technology vision and direction. The team owns the execution rhythm to deliver high quality outcomes based on product roadmaps. The team also drives for organization transformation with Agile methodology.
Key responsibilities:
- Leads and coordinates multi-functional (e.g. Product, Engineering, Operations) groups to drive the strategic business goals alignment
- Define and execute plans for priority initiatives and product enhancement
- Define and drive product and service execution rhythms
- Develop and drive clear, iterative roadmaps in a highly matrixed environment across the overall enterprise
- Demonstrate a passion for details with the ability to ideate and problem solve actively with business leaders, product, and engineering stakeholders
- Develops and implements strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce that functions as a center of excellence in the clarity of business needs and corporate alignment and communication to all levels of the organization.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in technical field, such as computer science, or engineering
- Minimum of 15 years of total work experience in a combination of technology development, program management, business analysis or strategy
- Minimum of 8 years of team leadership experience and cross-functional influence
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management or organizational transformation.
- Knowledge and working experience in cloud data services: Big Data, Data Streaming, Non-Transitional Database and Transactional Database
- Capable of managing numerous stakeholders, anticipating their needs, and gaining alignment for strategies from executive level stakeholders
- Strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of view
- Strong leadership, negotiation and execution skills with the ability to drive results, deliver and excel, and own it when you don't
- Comfortable in a fast paced, growing environment and work well with ambiguity
- Comfortable presenting to and persuading at Vice Presidential and Senior Vice-Presidential levels
- Proven ability to drive results, especially in a matrixed or influence based environment
- Strong relationship building skills, coupled with high business acumen
- Understands, describes and navigates existing work and makes recommendations with a clear sense of organizational impact
- Additionally, the appetite to work with the teams to dig into data, processes, issues, to identify the root-cause problems and remedies is a very desirable strength.
