What you'll do...

Want to use your expertise from the Credit Card and Alternative Finance and Lending industries to help shape the future of consumer financial services at one of the largest non-bank consumer financial service businesses in the World? As the Director, you will be responsible for Walmart’s credit growth, acquisitions, and customer loyalty engagement and will be a key leader on one of the largest non-bank consumer financial services businesses in the world.   

You’ll sweep us off our feet if:

  • You have a track-record of achieving meaningful outcomes within the financial services industry.
  • You have optimized credit/lending program profitability through credit card acquisition growth analysis and actions, implementation of customer engagement & loyalty strategies, and expense management.
  • You are customer-obsessed and think end-to-end about customer experiences across the physical and digital landscape.
  • You have a high sense of urgency and a demonstrated ability to deliver fast, measurable business results.
  • You are stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at the Fortune 1 scale.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Architecting unique credit card acquisitions and customer loyalty engagement strategies that focus on differentiated offerings to uniquely serve the needs of Walmart customers through applying human-centered design principles.
  • Partnering with marketing, operations, and technology leadership teams to optimize retail sales growth and credit/lending penetration via acquisition and lifecycle marketing strategies**.**
  • Building strategic relationships with new and existing vendors, understanding and evaluating their capabilities and negotiating advantageous rates.
  • Deliver customer, operational, and financial metrics for existing and newly established business lines and set & achieve annual operating performance objectives.
  • Operating with excellence – Set an example in managing to KPIs, delivering excellence, presenting at all levels, and developing yourself and others.

Minimum Requirements:     

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field and 5 years of experience in credit card strategy, consumer financial services industry, marketing management, product management, customer relationship management, retail operations, or related area.
  • 5 years of experience leading direct reports and/or large cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications / Other:  

  • Marketing management in financial services, banking, or consumer lending, or innovation consulting experience in consumer financial services
  • MBA in Marketing, Finance, Operations, or related field.
