What you'll do...
Three (3) years in roles with a primary focus on full stack or frontend web development.
- Expert in responsive web development using web frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery and React.
- Knowledge of design patterns to create simple and reusable components for complex UIs
- Experience integrating with web services/APIs
Designs and develops applications by collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs; researching business areas, including store visits, in order to better understand needs; developing requirements for new or modified applications; prioritizing technology requirements and ensuring they align to application standards; building prototype applications, including developing code; testing application functionality and quality; ensuring availability and accuracy of applications; and managing close-loop feedback cycles to encompass customer and user comments and needs.
Manages development and implementation of application standards and governance by researching and benchmarking industry standards; determining coding, software, hardware, and interface standards for application development; ensuring the implementation of standards; providing guidance on standards; reviewing and approving team members' application development work; and developing and implementing an internal control assessment and remediation approach.
Identifies business requirements and aligns them company strategy by collaborating with business partners to gather and evaluate needs and requirements; identifying technical requirements and specifications; developing business cases for unusual requests; collaborating with internal and external application developers and Walmart Technology; testing prototype applications with business partners to ensure requirements and needs are met; evaluating usage metrics in order to identify concerns or issues; and conducting technical support for applications in assigned area.
Manages the execution of multiple application development projects by defining scope, objectives, and priorities of the project; coordinating and communicating project activities (for example, business requirements, risk assessment, prototype iteration, target date); executing tasks as defined in the schedule in order to achieve goals; collaborating with stakeholders to reduce impact of changes to the plans (for example, functionality, scope, schedule, costs); and training stakeholders on application use to ensure application performance.
Ensures initiative support plans and resources maximize the ability to execute business initiatives easily and quickly by collaborating with business partners (for example, training teams, Walmart TV, Shows and Events, creative teams) to develop materials and resources; creating, reviewing, and editing initiative support materials to increase implementation and initiative consistency; collaborating with subject matter experts to finalize material content; ensuring consistency and relevancy of implementation phases and timing; and tracking initiative support metrics and reporting results to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, Statistics, or related field and 2 years experience in reporting, analytics, data visualization, user experience, or related area OR 4 years experience in reporting, analytics, data visualization, user experience, or related area.
