Fulfillment Area Manager - Sam's Club eCommerce

What you'll do at

• Collaboration: Collaborates with other Area Managers to determine capacity and ensure optimization of delivery management .
• Compliance and Quality Management: Understands and ensures compliance with operational policies and procedures to ensure the most efficient and effective processing of delivery orders, control of damages, errors and mis-picks.
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
• Inbound Operations (Unload, Receive, Haul and Stock): Performs all or some of the following for a single area of inbound operations in a shift, such as: Monitors unloading, receiving, hauling or stocking incoming inventory. Tracks and reports incoming inventory levels to an inbound Operations Manager.
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Outbound Operations (Pick, Pack and Ship): Performs all or some of the following for a single area of outbound operations in a shift, such as: Ensures products necessary to fulfill orders from across the warehouse are available for a shift; Ensures products are sorted into customer-ordered amounts and verifies the accuracy of each order for a shift; Oversees the preparation and loading of all orders for distribution within time frame ; Tracks and reports outbound inventory levels to outbound Operations Manager.
• People Development: Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge, and work performance. Mentors and provides on-the-job training to Fulfillment Center Leads and associates.
• Performance Monitoring: Manages expenditures for area within budgetary requirements; Monitors progress of team's productivity goals, such as costs, time, output rate, resource usages and reports to Operations Manager; Reviews schedule to ensure appropriate staffing level for a shift; Tracks and reports facility and equipment maintenance to Maintenance Operations Manager.
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field OR 2 years experience in supply chain operations, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year s supervisory experience.
• 2 years experience in supply chain operations, or related field.
• Master s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
