We are seeking a Product Manager professional in our Sunnyvale, CA office.
Duties: Own the end-to-end product development of the Next-Generation Returns Platform for Wal-Mart eCommerce. Build APIs, dashboards, and Reverse Logistics portals. Manage system solutions for returns and the supply chain to ensure end-to-end ownership of technical solutions and product features by working with relevant cross-functional teams. Execute the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Walmart.com customer returns platform and related services to deliver omni-channel solutions that boost NPS and CSAT. Utilize data, analytics, and customer surveys to identify and create product solutions for Walmart.com customers that incorporates requirements from Logistics, Customer Care, Supply Chain, Operations and Finance. Work with RESTful APIs, Platform Developers, UI Designers, and Front-End Engineers to implement new API end-points and front-end websites using Scrum and Agile development tools. Deploy analytical methods, tools, and resources to identify areas of opportunity for Walmart.com customer returns, including ways to increase cost savings, maximize the value of returns, and improve customer experiences. Partner with various product teams in supply chain, retail, and stores to incorporate feedback into product development and improvement. Drive transformational initiatives to achieve major financial goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with other product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver roadmap items and drive discussions about business and technical requirements. Ensure the development of well-defined operational processes for all features. Monitor the performance and feedback loop through data and analytics. This position does not supervise employees.
Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field and 2 years of experience in product management, business consulting, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience in product management, business consulting, or related field.
Skills required: Demonstrated knowledge of eCommerce Supply Chain Systems, including Returns, Refunds, and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Processes. Experience designing and implementing Restful APIs. Experience designing and implementing Software Platforms. Experience recommending new technical features using the following research methodologies: Customer Interviews, Case Study Research, Surveys, and A/B Testing. Experience developing technical features and planning feature releases using Scrum and Agile methodologies as part of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Experience with Software Product Management. Experience creating presentations to pitch new initiatives, showcase proposals, and present the benefits and Returns on Investment (ROI) of initiatives. Experience utilizing data to drive requirements, assess Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and measure the impact of a new technical feature. Experience using Jira to configure Scrum boards, write detailed user stories with acceptance criteria, create reports to track Scrum team activities, and project snapshots for management. Experience developing business cases and requirements by analyzing data in Teradata, SQL, and Excel. Experience developing flow diagrams and mock-ups using Sketch and Lucid Charts.
