Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer professional.

What you'll be responsible for...

• Use modern data ingestion and integration techniques to build data sets from complex multi-platform environments (both cloud and on-prem) that integrate diverse, massive scale internal and external data sources.

• Develop highly scalable, highly-performant, instrumented and accurate data pipelines.

• Combine a sense of urgency and expert knowledge of data engineering practice to solve and enhance complex computing performance challenges.

• Identify, develop, and deliver improvements on data performance, data quality.

• Define system-performance and operational metrics; create dashboards to continuously monitor those metrics.

• Maintain thorough and well-written documentation.

• Take ownership and be highly organized of the projects and tasks assigned.

• Design, develop and build database to power Big Data analytical systems.

• Demonstrates expertise in writing complex, highly optimized queries across large data sets.

• Experience with BI Tool Tableau, Big Query, Google Cloud buckets or Looker is a plus.

• Work on creating data ingestion processes to maintain Global Data lake on Google cloud or Azure.

• Perform continuous integration and deployment using Jenkins and Git.

• Design data integration pipeline architecture and ensure successful creation of the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Spark, SQL, HQL and other technologies.

• 5+ years of experience with 1+ years of Big data development experience

Nice to Have

• You have experience in the Healthcare, Payments or Settlement domain.

• You have experience on writing complex queries and checking query plan.

• You have experience with highly distributed tiered service architectures
