As a Senior Backend Engineer part of Sam’s Media Group, you will be responsible for evolving the next gen AdTech billing and invoicing platform. You’ll spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing us with the insights necessary to think beyond the status quo. You’ll oversee small project teams consisting of other engineers who will look to you as a trusted advisor, a subject matter expert who provides guidance and the right tools to get the job done.

You’ll really wow us if…

• You have 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex systems, including developing solutions from scratch.

• You have experience designing web/service-oriented applications using C#, .NET, SQL server databases

• You have an understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application writing clean, readable C# code.

• You have a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.

• You have excellent development experience with REST, SOAP based services and excellent understanding and writing of SQL server queries, procedures, views, functions and designing skills.

Requirements:

• .NET Framework 4.6, Core (C#)
• Strong SQL Server 2012 - queries / Stored Procedures / Views / Functions
• Develop and consume Web API and Web Services
• Excellent understating of HTTP communication
• Solid understanding of OOP design principle
• Unit Testing – NUnit/MSTest
• CI/CD Pipeline – Jenkins/GIT/Web Deploy
• IIS
• Strong communication skills are a must
• Understanding of Agile methodology
