What you'll do...
Want a fun paying job for the fall? We are hiring temporary lifeguards. This is a temporary/seasonal job opportunity, but with an opportunity to be converted to permanent. You will be a part of our aquatics program for Walton Life Fitness Center. We are actively looking for positive, hard-working water-loving people to keep our swimmers safe in the water as a lifeguard. Work with our Rec Team ensuring the safety, cleanliness and security of a swimming pool and its ground. Ideal candidate will need to have a flexible schedule.
Must be flexible to support business needs during facility hours of 5:30am-8:30pm, Monday- Friday and occasionally weekends.
What you will do:
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity Ensures safety and well-being of Aquatics participants through preventive lifeguarding
- Ensures that needs of the Walton Life Fitness Center are being met
- Maintains lifeguard certification
- Responds to pool emergencies (for example, struggling swimmers, potential drowning)
- CPR certification for lifeguards or professional rescuers from appropriate organization (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA, Boy Scouts)
- Lifeguard certification
