What you'll do...
Job Description:
Develops, drives, and communicates strategies with the input of leadership for Sam's Club product marketing program by researching, recommending, and developing annual and quarterly program performance goals that align with Sam's Club membership and financial goals; identifying resources (for example, budget, creative, technical) to enable strategy execution; monitoring results as compared to business plans; and adjusting tactics as business and market conditions change.
Sources, recruits, and evaluates relevant and productive partnerships (for example, agency, search engines, websites)by identifying potential new digital marketing opportunities; conducting outreach campaigns to recruit potential digital partners; and negotiating and monitoring terms and incentives that support the marketing program performance goals and promote the Sam's Club brand.
Oversees product and digital marketing campaigns through all phases (for example, launch through maintenance) by developing, distributing, and managing promotional and creative placements to support marketing, eCommerce, and membership campaigns and the programs; initiating new campaign ideas, incentives, and offers; and creating promotional materials partnering with the marketing creative team.
Establishes, builds, and manages relationships with digital partners (for example, agency, search engines, websites) by conducting regular outreach to network partners; identifying opportunities for growth and improvement; monitoring and managing brand compliance; monitoring monthly commission payouts; and identifying opportunities to renegotiate rates or provide incentives for stronger performance.
Tracks, monitors, and optimizes program performance by determining and evaluating reporting needs; generating performance reports; driving the accuracy of data and reporting; summarizing performance analysis and return on investment (ROI) data to stakeholders (for example, marketing, merchandsing, eCommerce leadership and technical teams); and utilizing campaign data, analysis, and results to drive modifications to the program's strategy and goals. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
