What you'll do
This role will be a key member of the Marketplace Partner Payments team with a focus on Payments, Financial Operations and Financial Services for Marketplace Sellers.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the strategy for partner settlements, payments risk management & analysis and improvements to the partner settlement operations & experience.
Lead payment initiatives such as reduce chargebacks to minimize financial losses; drive new risk controls strategy and enforcements to manage settlement risk
Validate partner settlements through data-driven actions for mitigation of Payment Fraud and Seller Risk; automate settlement processes to achieve operational efficiency
Define and manage rules and policies, as well as implement the solution with payments decision engine
Drive and execute end-to-end analytical projects to manage seller experience, payment risk mitigation and financial impact
Build dashboards to proactively monitor operational metrics to drive better efficiency and help reduce partner payment friction
Collaborate cross functionally with Product, Trust & Safety, Performance, Partner Operations, and other business teams to create and support robust risk processes and procedures
Work with business leads to support Marketplace initiatives and monetization of new services

Master’s in business, Statistics, Computer Science or similar field
At least 2 years of industry experience preferably in Payments, Risk, Financial Services, or similar space
Ability to lead cross functional teams and prior experience working with Product and Technology teams; proven ability to influence internal / external partners and provide clear actionable insights
Advanced understanding of SQL and working with large datasets
Experience with one or more data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker etc.
High proficiency with Excel based data analysis
Experience driving projects toward clear business goals, testable hypotheses, and action-oriented outcomes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 2 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 4 years'
