Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Manager, II, Facility Design, Architecture
As Manager II, Facility Design, Architecture, you will deliver building CAD design projects by reviewing business plans to ensure design intent execution; processing building designs from architect of record into design projects; distributing design activities and elements to design teams; managing design change requests and reviewing financial impact of design changes with key stakeholders (Realty, Merchandising, Store Operations); communicating design changes to design teams; ensure the delivery of project milestones; and securing design and business leadership review and approval.
The Manager II, Facility Design, Architecture consults and provide design recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders (Store Operations, Realty, Merchandising) by contribution in designing planning activities (total building design direction, space allocation); scheduling and conducting design reviews, ensuring business plans are released to downstream stakeholders on time; managing the relationships with the architect of record regarding shell designs and change requests; and collaborating with project management teams regarding workload alignment or resource issues.
You'll make an impact by:
• Proactively identifying improvement for future designs; making design adjustments and re-allocating space if necessary; and providing updated designs to architect of record
• Demonstrating up-to-date expertise and applying this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices
• Supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales; providing and supporting the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
• Identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands; organizational changes, and new responsibilities
• Modeling compliance with company policies and procedures and supporting our company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans
• Delivering expected business results while putting the customer first and consistently applying an omni-merchant mindset and the EDLP and EDLC business models to all plans

• You're a strategic thinker with a holistic perspective that considers data, analytics, customer insights, and different parts of the business when making plans and shaping the team's strategy
• You're a positive communicator with energy and positivity to motivate, influence, and inspire commitment and action
• You have experience in project design and management of corporate facilities to include interior bases, space management, construction projects, and interior design/modifications
• You have architecture experience or any type of design aesthetics experience in a corporate setting
• You have modeling software experience to include CAD, Revit, SketchUp or other space modeling software
