What you'll do...
- Lead technical, mathematical development of the Long Range Plan (LRP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for income from suppliers across a portfolio of products to include, but not limited to online banner advertisements on and off the samsclub.com website, search ads, integrated marketing, product sampling and ads, and direct mail Instant Savings Book ads. Support business partners by providing data and analysis to include past performance, trends, and future scenarios.
- Communicates with functional business partners to understand, document, report, and follow up on significant variations in actual ad sales vs plan and forecast. Execute, report, and input to databases regular SMG forecasts and end of month results. Attend multifunctional meetings to communicate forecasts including risks and opportunities and month end results.
- Develop depth of expertise in SMG reporting systems and databases such as OneStream, Anaplan, etc.
- Manage and document SMG Finance metrics consistent with Data Governance. Provide support to Data Governance Data Steward Leader and Data Owner on all aspects of SMG Finance.
- Perform competitive intelligence and ad-hoc analysis
- Track and issue weekly reports of progress in obtaining supplier funding plans as a team and for individual sales members to enable incentive payouts.
- Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
