What you'll do...
The Surety of Supply team at Walmart centralizes, accelerates, and scales Walmart’s efforts to mitigate supply risks for key commodities. We work across food and consumable products in close collaboration with merchants and teams from global sourcing, sustainability, technology, manufacturing, quality control, and beyond. We are looking for entrepreneurial, collaborative problem solvers who enjoy working cross functionally and driving change.
About the role:
This role support efforts to reinvent who we partner with and how we work collaboratively to drive surety over longer time horizons, defining a bolder fresh sourcing approach that transcends traditional category boundaries and actions, and seeking innovative approaches or partnerships to reimagine Walmart Surety of Supply. This role develops the capabilities and cross-functional alignment necessary to propel the Surety agenda forward.
We are hiring associates to support three workstreams:
Surety of Supply execution – this team will support merchant teams executing Surety of Supply projects and execute initiatives owned by Surety of Supply team
Surety of Supply strategy – this team will coordinate Surety efforts across the enterprise, manage project prioritization and resource allocation, and track and manage KPIs to assess progress
Surety of Supply tools – this team will own and scale Surety of Supply tools, and be the business owners of future state tools created to support Surety efforts

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you possess the following qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in retail, corporate development, corporate strategy, investment banking, consulting, or CPG
- Strategic analysis, project management, and communication skills
- Experience executing cross-functional projects and skilled at influencing beyond immediate team
- Track record of demonstrating high levels of initiative, ownership, and thought leadership
- Experience building business cases with a focus on strong data gathering, analytics, and insight sharing
Minimum Qualifications:
As permitted by applicable law, provide evidence of full vaccination as defined by CDC guidelines OR secure approval of medical or religious accommodation for the vaccination mandate.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 2 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area. OR 4 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
