About the team:

The Walmart AdTech Advertising Business Systems (ABS) team provides onboarding, billing, data, and tooling solutions for Walmart Connect (https://www.walmartconnect.com/). We employ big data and machine learning to turn Walmart’s massive scale and reach into value proposition for our customers.

What you’ll do…

A successful person in this role will own major applications and tools of the advertising business systems team, drive alignment with other teams, and build industry-defining reusable customer and partner-facing services and products to drive differentiated experiences and revenue. You’ll make an impact by:

  • Conducting industry and competitive analysis to drive the right capabilities.
  • Partnering with our internal teams to ensure consistent behavior and align responsibilities.
  • Developing and enhancing products – as an individual contributor you will manage product roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks
  • Defining vision and strategies for your product family, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, identifying market opportunities, building business cases, and approving objectives
  • Building collaborative relationships with key partners by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership
  • Providing overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs
  • Building a team environment by partnering to solve problems and staying focused till there is a solution

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, and an MBA or Masters in Computer Science or Information Systems is a huge plus!
  • 6+ years in product management, emerging technologies, data analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience in the retail industry & catalog management would be a plus
  • Quantitative or engineering background is preferred.
  • Platform experience is highly desirable.
  • Sound business judgment as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize.
  • Must be able and willing to think and act strategically and tactically.
