Manager II, Specialty Compliance And Ethics - Financial Services Compliance Field Execution

The Manager II, Financial Services Compliance – Field Execution is responsible for ensuring Walmart’s financial services compliance program is effectively implemented in our stores. The role will conduct on-site and virtual location reviews which include extensive associate interviews and training. Additionally, the position is responsible for remediation of location specific findings escalated by Walmart’s internal and external partners. The position will work closely and cross-functionally with Financial Services Operations, Continuous Improvement, and Walmart’s financial services vendors to implement ongoing initiatives and address emerging issues in financial services.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Growing and developing the Financial Services Compliance program
• Helping protect our consumers by preventing fraud and other illegal activity
• Interviewing associates to assess knowledge and execution of policies and procedures for Walmart’s financial services offerings
• Risk-spotting and escalation of process gaps and consumer trends
• Training store associates on the policies and expectations of Financial Services Compliance
• Partnering with internal and external partners to remediate store level and systemic issues
• Collaborating with the Data Investigations program to perform due diligence for store investigations
• Educating the stores and Continuous Improvement team on fraud trends and misuse of financial products
• Generating reports and analytic insights regarding store execution of the Financial Services Compliance program
• Acting as point of contact for our stores for Financial Services Compliance related issues
• Approximately 25% travel required

• You have 5+ years of experience in financial services
• You have experience providing in-person training to small and large groups
• You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong data background; highly savvy pulling/synthesizing data and identifying trends and patterns
• You are an effective partner and can work cross-functionally with other teams
• You have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• You are a proven critical thinking and cross-functional team influence
