Join the Health & Wellness Compliance team to support compliance initiatives for the world’s largest retailer. Reporting to the Director of Controlled Substance Compliance, you’ll collaborate with Walmart Health and Wellness Legal, Global Investigations, and other business partners to support the Prescriber Review Program. The Prescriber Review Compliance role will be responsible for identification of potential compliance risks associated with controlled substance dispensing, and the establishment of effective controls and compliance oversight related to those risks. This Manager II position is a critical thought-leadership role providing strategic and compliance advice to business leadership and other stakeholders.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if:
You’re a subject matter expert in legal and compliance risks associated with controlled substances in retail setting.
You have experience and familiarity with regulatory requirements pertaining to pharmacies, prescribers, and controlled substances.
You are a J.D.
You have regulatory experience
You’re process-minded and look for opportunities to streamline for improved efficiency and effectiveness
You have strong communication skills to interact with senior leadership and stakeholders
You have experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment
You’re organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously

Creating and optimizing compliance strategies for Health and Wellness Compliance
Developing best practices and procedures that will mitigate risk relating to controlled substances
Providing compliance support for operations, legal, and global investigations
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area. 2 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
