What you'll do...

As a member of the Product Safety and Compliance team, you will have direct involvement in executing and building programs expected to guarantee product safety and regulatory compliance.

You have legal research skills and the ability to interpret legal requirements to determine business impact

You have experience with MS Office Suite applications
You will make an impact by:
Monitoring the Product Safety and Compliance testing program executed by 3rd party laboratories and working with suppliers to ensure that testing gaps are closed and testing failures dispositioned
Interpreting legislation to determine impact on business area; developing and coordinating execution of action plans to ensure compliance to enacted legislation
Collaborating across stakeholders to ensure program awareness and communicating change impact to other business areas (i.e. Quality Technical teams, Product Development teams; Merchant teams)
Reviewing records of Regulatory outreach to Walmart facilities to ensure gaps noted by regulatory authorities are properly responded to and closed
Executing specific Product Safety and Compliance programs per direction of Senior Managers while recommending and developing strategies for program improvement
Drafting supplier communication documents to inform Walmart suppliers of Product Safety and Compliance requirements
