Manager, Marketing Planning and Strategy - Seasonal Marketing

You’ll make an impact by:

What you'll do...

Marketing Strategy & Planning Management

  • Campaign strategy: Support the development of Walmart's Holiday marketing strategy and manage key channels within the campaign.
  • Partner with merchandising/category marketing/services marketing partners and cross-functionally to curate messaging and products that anchor your program strategy.
  • Integrated Marketing Planning & Implementation: Develop customer messaging and partner closely with media and creative teams to integrate stories into content plans across Influencers, CRM/Email, Social, Display and Search. Ensuring continuity between content and shopping destinations.
  • Leadership Communication: Leads standing campaign meetings including agenda development, meeting materials and program updates.
  • Measurement: Supports weekly analytics review meetings (in collaboration with analytics partners) and actions on optimizations to improve program performance.  
  • Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional, internal and external teams (e.g., Customer Insights, Media Planning, Performance Marketing, Category Marketing, Creative, Operations, Walmart Connect, Site Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Analytics) to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels in each phase of a campaign.
