As the Sr. Site Merchandising Manager for TEO (Tech, Electronics, and Office) you support our members by giving them the best-in-class shopping experience for categories within TEO on samsclub.com.  You’ll need to keep a pulse on ecommerce trends and innovations to constantly deliver results and sales. You’ll be responsible in delivering solutions for your category area and work with cross-functional partners to develop strategies for many programs ranging from product launches, search optimization, to online promotions execution.  You will manage a team of 2, comprised of an Associate Site Merchandising Manager and Site Operations Coordinator. 

What you’ll do…

As the Senior Manager, Site Merchandising for TEO you will lead a divisional site team, establish strategy, and oversee the day-to-day site operations, develop partnerships with marketing and merchandising, and use vision and creativity to impact the member experience. You know your member needs better than anyone else and are constantly thinking about optimizing member-facing experiences and internal processes to improve efficiencies. Success in this role requires tenacity, an analytical mindset, influence, solutions-oriented, and great collaboration.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Developing a robust and effective Ecommerce strategy for the TEO (Technology, Electronics, and Office division) by creating member-obsessed Ecommerce solutions, driving incremental sales, digital engagement, and business improvements for category areas within the TEO umbrella.
  • Being forward thinking, and optimization focused – you prioritize in continuously learning latest innovation in eCommerce strategy, you are constantly looking for impactful ways to set us apart from competitors, you do not shy away from challenges, and will always innovate and iterate for a best-in-class homepage experience.
  • Monitoring performance through analytics and key metrics – You’ll oversee the development of site metrics and dashboards to monitor homepage health, providing strategic insights to internal stakeholders to influence the overall direction for the homepage.
  • Becoming an invaluable strategic partner to internal stakeholders – You’ll advise on and partner with various internal teams to improve processes, identify opportunities, and scale best practice and governance, driving continual assessment and improvement of the homepage’s strategic direction and execution.
  • Operating with excellence – You’ll land the fundamentals and create and help scale best-in-class efficient workflows, processes and timelines, embedding operational excellence into everything you do and developing associates on the team to increase capabilities and enhance skills, knowledge and performance.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 5+ years related experience in Merchandising, Site Merchandising, or related field
  • 2+ years demonstrated experience managing a team
  • 4+ years of experience in consumer-focused e-commerce environment
  • Strong customer obsession focused on building the right site experience for our members
  • Analytical and process-oriented, comfortable making data-driven decisions
  • Ability to set clear team objectives and performance measures
  • Ability to select and develop a team of future leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary
  • Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
