What you'll do...

Executes the unpaid content programming calendar and site experience strategy for an assigned department. Implements asset usages on category pages. Understands and identifies basic data sets related to site experiences. Ensures alignment of the site strategy with department and category marketing priorities. Aligns category and department pages to wireframe, email linkage, asset brand page design, layout, and content standards. Considers customer data and insights, competitive analysis, and assortment priorities to deliver positive site experiences. Analyzes patterns and determines where to enhance site capability to drive customer selections. Solves complex problems using analytical and deductive thinking and exercises judgment to create solutions to site experience issues. Executes plans for the presentation of products within a department or category. Reviews site content, usability, and traffic patterns for products within a category for accuracy, engagement, and optimization for search and navigation. Recommends the use of images and basic and enhanced content. Ensures data and image accuracy and coverage. Suggests the use of product attributes and attribute values aligned to established proper taxonomy and attribution. Monitors online presence for products in a department across multiple websites to inform department recommendations. Monitors department and sub-department data and identifies opportunities (for example, searches, product sorting, pricing adjustments) to improve category performance. Identifies potential new data sets to be requested from analytics partners. Generates and analyzes reports detailing site and mobile traffic (for example, click-paths, page visits, searches, conversion), examining results against objectives and informing category teams where modifications may be warranted. Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to provide basic insights to stakeholders. Generates basic reports summarizing site and mobile traffic for a department. Generates basic reports summarizing all device traffic for all campaigns, brands, and partnerships. Implements reporting for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Keyword Ranking success. Executes reporting on decided KPIs to determine SEO success within an assigned department, brand, or campaign. Executes established processes to optimize SEO at a category/subcategory level. Executes facets for use in search results and aligns with category strategy. Executes boosting strategy for department and category search terms. Implements the navigation strategy for department and category search terms. Guides Associate Merchants on the management of Item Pages. Follows SEO taxonomy guidelines. Performs linking strategy activation for an assigned department or category. Completes category page update strategy cadence. Collaborates across categories to identify innovative presentation programs that link product categories and drive cross-selling. Executes the site experience strategy for assigned brands and strategic partnerships. Implements asset usages on brand landing pages. Understands and identifies basic data sets related to site experience. Executes the site merchandising strategy for assigned brands/partners. Ensures alignment of the site strategy and execution for brand and category marketing priorities. Aligns category and brand landing pages to wireframe, email linkage, asset brand page design, layout, and content standards. Works collaboratively with Marketing on campaign planning and execution. Aligns to best practices around Walmart.com homepage usage for campaigns. Supports the execution of the campaign planning calendar. Executes campaign activities within agreed timeframes at the agreed levels of quality. Executes the rule structure for shelves within a campaign destination, pinning strategy, and item strategy. Supports the execution of the seasonal editorial calendar for a specified area of the business. Executes key trends, stories, and curated content for a specified area of business. Supports the creation and execution of editorial content, including content briefs and creative reviews for site pages, emails, social media posts, gift guides, and special projects. Monitors site page content, linking, and corresponding product arrays. Executes omni-channel merchandising processes. Executes customer-focused processes across all customer touchpoints. Anticipates customer trends, influences customer demand through a basic understanding of customer requirements, and demonstrates an understanding of category strategy. Scrubs social channels to find and classify content within the Curelate system to all fresh User Generated Content to feed onto site. Supports and validates new item setup, search indexing, preorder, messaging, promos, store finders, boosts, marketing, approvals, legal, and services. Executes project activities to meet launch expectations and deadlines. Communicates and supports style guide recommendations to the Item Setup team and provides guidance on elevated and exclusive brands and/or strategic partnerships. Helps to manage content quality and attribution. Partners with the Business Operations team on enriched content. Shares observations about category site traffic and visual presentation themes with Omni Merchants and suggests potential improvements. Works collaboratively across multiple functions (for example, Merchandising, Marketplace, Marketing, Creative, Suppliers, Walmart Media Group, Product, other relevant partners). Executes a customer-centric decision-making process. Collaborates across divisions, departments, and sub-category teams to understand promotional calendars and seasonal events or campaigns and share merchandising data and information that that will help drive site performance. Shares observations about department site traffic and visual presentation themes with department management team. Leverages data to make real time decisions, anticipates business questions, drives hypothesis formulation, guides testing, and builds a data-driven culture. Uses visualization tools to represent data and construct coherent stories to influence decisions. Coaches less-experienced team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge, and work performance. Manages day-to-day relationships with cross-functional partners by evaluating impact and prioritizing deliverables; reading and interpreting reports to determine course of action; identifying trends and proposing opportunities for improved operation; communicating area's specific concerns and issues; and resolving or escalating vendor and site issues. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices. Bachelor's degree in design, business or related area and 1 year’s experience in eCommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive and visual design, business management, or related area.
