What you'll do...
Responsibilities:
Develop in-depth knowledge of the online advertising industry, Google Ad Manager, and Walmart-specific advertising systems.
Generate reference material for both our Sponsored Products API and Display offerings
Work with cross-functional experts to build your understanding of Walmart Connect products
Utilize tools including but not limited to Swagger / OpenAPI, GitHub, HTML to develop clear, concise documentation
Partner with Product Managers and Developers to understand document product capabilities and new features
Work with cross-functional teams on documentation projects as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field and 4+ years of experience in communications, journalism, business, or relevant area OR 8+ years of experience in technical writing, engineering, product, or a related technical field
Ability to quickly learn technical information
Excellent analytical and written communication skills
High attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Project-management experience
Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams
Understanding of API basics
Experience with a version-control system such as Git
Team management experience
Previous exposure to online advertising industry
Ability to make documentation-related edits directly to our Java codebase
