Leads document processing by validating data for complex issue resolution by using in-depth analytics reviews across multiple systems; identifying transactions that affect financial statements; completing complex research for reimbursement or recoupment of funds; reconciling medium complexity general ledger accounts; reviewing and researching general ledger, financial statements, and transactional system inputs to identify and resolve transaction discrepancies; conducting complex root cause analysis and research to identify and resolve causes for issues presented by customers or control procedures; coordinating documentation retrievals for compliance and audit requests; submitting reconciliations, reporting and flux data for balance sheet reviews; coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to understand accounting entries, gather information, and validate data and reconciliations.
Manages balance sheet accounts by reviewing transactional activity for appropriate account classification; reconciling account balances; calculating and posting accruals; and working with support teams to ensure compliance.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy; and providing direction and guidance on applying these in executing business processes and practices.
