Position: Quality Assurance Developer III

Job Location: 805 Moberly Lane, Bentonville, AR 72716

Duties: Manages large-sized Quality Assurance (QA) projects while adhering to the Information Systems Development Life Cycle (ISDLC) by determining testing scope, data and environment requirements; identifying dependencies, and determining and scheduling test deliverables; validating functional test plans, schedules, and results with project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with Quality and project goals; collaborating with project teams, vendor partners, and QA Project Leaders to develop and validate test plans for assigned projects; and prioritizing and performing defect management on tests. Develops and maintains relationships with vendors on QA projects by reviewing and defining project requirements and expectations with vendors; overseeing and managing vendor activities (for example, Clarity allocation, availability, QA estimation, estimates to completion); overseeing and ensuring vendor deliverables are met and in compliance with ISDLC standards; working with vendors to validate and ensure validate resource assignments, progress, and quality of work products; ensuring collaboration between vendor partners and Walmart associates (for example, Business Analysis team, Application Development team); partnering with vendors and Walmart leadership to resolve QA issues; and identifying improvements to supplier processes and relationships. Creates and supports project level QA strategies by identifying and reviewing business requirements and project level strategies for execution (for example, product architecture, technology); recommending approach to executing QA projects (for example, test levels, environments, tools, project roles); gathering and developing test data for metrics and measurement; and working with QA project leader to ensure project strategy aligns with overall product. Supports QA effectiveness and productivity at project level by overseeing and ensuring project data collection and reporting to measure and improve quality (for example, defect severity, open defects, test execution); providing guidance and training to associates on applications and systems; performing quality risk assessments to determine risks to projects and developing solutions; identifying issues within current processes and recommending change management strategies; and partnering with project lead and senior leadership to eliminate barriers and ensure execution of key change management plans and process improvements.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related plus 5 years' experience in information technology or related field.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Software applications (packaged software, web applications, windows-based applications, web services, and mobile applications); Performing code automated tests with Selenium, REST Assured, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, Jira, JDBC Templated, Ansible, Web driver, Windows driver, Mobile driver and Android Studio; Designing and implementing automated testcase scripts with object-oriented programming languages (Java, Web Services, SQL, JavaScript, NodeJS, Java Script, Type Script, YAML and Spring Boot); Designing complex queries in relational and non-relational databases with Informix, DB2, MS SQL, Cassandra, Cosmo and Mongo; Operating systems (Windows, MAC, Unix and Linux); Implementing Continuous Integration and Deployment environment with Jenkins, Looper, GIT Hub and Concord; Report with tracking tools (JIRA, Dashboards, TFS, and Test Rails); Test planning, thought leadership, software testing, driving strategy, modelling, and delivering quality products; Researching new tools, technologies, and testing processes; Developing standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.
