What you'll do:

As an Analyst for Sales Operations, you will support our efforts in operational excellence with various stakeholders within the enterprise to deliver excellence to Walmart’s sellers and customers. 

The role will support New Seller Business Development to ensure we continue to pursue data driven decisions, track progress, and implement improvements to exceed planned targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   

• Ability to understand a complex data set, pinpoint findings, provide suggestions, and explain it in simple, but concise manner to a broader group.
• Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills. 
• Aid in developing robust business requirements via policy and compliance with new standards for our sellers. 
• Design, test and implement rules as required by the business.
• Audit existing rules and recommend improvements to continue to grow the business.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of strong operating models and insights to support new ways of working with various teams in Walmart utilizing SQL, ThoughtSpot, and other data-driven tools. 
• A desire to build a strong understanding of the marketplace ecosystem & business model.  

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics or other relevant roles
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Proficient in SQL
• Extremely organized with excellent attention to detail 
• Excellent verbal and written service and communication skills 
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant and quantitative field and/or relevant work experience (e.g., Operations Research, Economics, Management Science, Business Analytics, Statistics)
• Knowledge about eCommerce Environment
• Ability to analyze data and present findings
• Resourceful self-starter who can drive projects autonomously
• Teradata, ThoughtSpot/Tableau Understanding.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 1 year’s experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 3 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
