What you'll do...
Senior Data Scientist / Data Engineer
Introduction
This position is within Data Science Operations of Inkiru Anti-Fraud Analytics. You will be providing horizontal support to all Anti-Fraud Analytics Data Science verticals including Walmart.com, Walmart Store Returns, Scan&Go, WalmartPay and others.
You will make in impact by helping 40+ Inkiru Anti-Fraud Data Scientists to build/manage their data pipelines, arrange/structure large data volumes, build reporting to Inkiru business partners, while optimizing data pipelines efficiency and money spent.
You are going to be a key support in building Google Cloud based NextGen Inkiru Data Environment Architecture, while helping to manage Inkiru Data Science Google Cloud Environment, including Hadoop DataProc cluster, BigQuery and Google Cloud Storage infrastructures**.**
You also will be working with Inkiru Engineers to establish/maintain/optimize smooth near real-time data feeds between Inkiru Anti-Fraud Real Time Platform and Inkiru Google Cloud Environments.
Requirements
- MS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics & Probability or related field and 3+ years of relevant work experience (later can be omitted for PhD candidates)
- Excellent knowledge and 3+ years of hands-on experience with complex SQL query built/optimization
- Experience of working with Google Cloud including BigQuery Technology
- 3+ years Hands-On Experience of work with big data volumes
- Good working knowledge of Python programming (knowledge of PySpark a plus)
- Working knowledge of Linux shell-scripting
- Knowledge of Hadoop/Hive Technology Highly preferred
- Experience with Jira and Confluence Highly Preferred

- Non-Structured Data Management, JSON strings parsing experience
