What you'll do...

The International Ecommerce Digital Experiences team is building a flexible platform and applications to power online search experiences across Walmart's International eCommerce brands. Search is a key user experience enabler that helps customers shop with confidence and contributes to growth of our online businesses. We are improving hundreds of millions of customer journeys by serving the right content across many digital touchpoints to every customer. Our services are used across more than a dozen of digital storefronts and are called billions of times a day.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead efforts building services supporting online search functionality and customer-centric business solutions that influence customer decisions at every step of their shopping journey. You will be joining a small team of PMs working across six SCRUM teams. We collaborate closely with Data Science, Customer Experience and Analytics teams to build innovative, ML/AI-enabled, and highly scalable solutions.

In this role a successful Product Manager

  • Develops and champions product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of search solutions supporting modern ecommerce user experience and business growth.

  • Drives the product discovery process in collaboration with the Business, User Experience, and Engineering teams to assess value, usability, and feasibility of product features and to produce detailed product specifications that capture business cases, success criteria, and go-to-market strategy and result in effective product investment decisions.

  • Communicates across functions using live presentations, high-level and low-level written specifications, processes flow documents, business rules, and use cases.

  • Supports product implementation and deployment by engaging across technical functions, Engineering, Project Management, SRE and Operations, to drive clarity and commitment, resolve dependencies, and to make trade off decisions; to coordinate post-launch activities including product acceptance and validation of the product functionality.

  • Provides for a successful implementation of business solutions by building partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capturing improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

  • Creates and shares insights that drive customer-centric data-driven product decisions by tracking key product metrics, collecting, and synthesizing customer feedback, making use of market research and user usage data.

Required Skills:

  • Evaluating business cases, gathering business and customer requirements.

  • Business analytics skills: business modeling in Excel.

  • Web/Mobile analytics skills : Google Analytics and/or Adobe Omniture, familiarity with multivariate testing.

  • Building and executing digital product roadmap and product development backlog. Strong skills with prioritization and making data driven decisions.

  • Working knowledge of Agile software development practices.

Nice to have experiences:

  • Ecommerce experience.

  • Experience with Recommender Systems, Site Search, Personalization, Customer Data Platforms, and Advertising is a plus.

  • Experience with MLOps, Machine Learning optimizations is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of Product Management experience OR MBA (or relevant graduate degree) + 1year of experience (or a couple of strong internships).
