Walmart GoLocal is a recently launched business at Walmart that offers highly competitive local commerce solutions to retailers, brands and SMBs of all sizes and scale. Our core mission is to transform people’s lives by improving proliferation of convenient local commerce services such as local delivery, especially in previously underserved rural and suburban communities.

We are already one of the top platforms in the space and looking to aggressively drive scale. Core to our strategy is our aspiration to democratize access to local commerce services agnostic of the industry and location within the US. We believe that local businesses and national retailers alike, should continue to have a strong and lasting relationship with end customers and are looking to enable them with the same industry-leading capabilities that power Walmart with white-label delivery services.

Our team is growing quickly, consisting of talent from industry-leading technology companies as well as veteran Walmart team members. We are looking to build on this foundation and bring in the next set of leaders to drive our growth aspirations. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager I, Market Development to join the team.

You’ll be successful in this role if:

• You have a track record of developing and orchestrating market development programs in a b2b tech environment.
• You have the mindset to think outcomes first and then have been able to organize and orchestrate end-to-end actions with a horizontal mindset.
• You have polished top tier communication and presentation skills with an ability to speak to mass audience, senior executives, and industry leaders.
• You are comfortable operating in a highly-matrixed, virtual/remote environment where certain components of roles and responsibilities are unclear or shifting.
• You enjoy being in a rapidly evolving, highly competitive, and dynamic market environment.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Being a key contributor behind our market positioning, messaging, value prop synthesis and targeting in a b2b setting.
• Driving market launch activities for new offerings and/or segments in partnership with scaled teams in a highly-matrixed environment.
• Managing multi-channel campaign execution that aims to rapidly drive market awareness in a B2B setting.
• Partnering with scaled marketing, communication, cross-functional and support teams to execute strategic plans.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in marketing
• Digital marketing experience
• Events marketing experience
• Bachelor’s degree
