What you'll do...

Senior Manager I, Strategic Partnerships - Video Games 

The Walmart E Sports area is a growth area within our Video Game portfolio that is geared towards creating connections within the gaming community. 

This role will be dedicated to managing our business strategy within the E Sports industry.  Day to day this person will be a part of joint business planning, issue mitigation, and account management (owning business relationships with our most impactful partners).   This person will also make presentations at conferences and through webinars. If you are customer-focused, strategic and eager to thrive in a high growth environment, this role is for you!

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Being Strategic: Identifies and capitalizes on improvement opportunities for moderately-to-highly complex categories or business areas. Manages and champions business improvement initiatives for a moderately-to-highly complex category or business area. Provides input into short-and long term strategic plan for the category or business area.
  • Working Cross Functionally:  Works with cross-functional teams (e.g., Retail Analytics and Product Development) to develop new tactics or make changes based on , category, vendor and partner needs.
  • Researching and Analyzing: Develops complex analytical frameworks/models for assessing business development and outcomes of strategic initiatives (e.g., impact on ROI/customer growth, conversion rates, profitability). Recommends key analysis and metrics for moderately-to-highly complex categories or business areas. Reviews research and analysis performed by specialists for moderately-to-highly complex categories or business areas.
  • Executing Business Plans:  Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
