Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Manager II, Advanced Analytics leader to help us build and scale our Walmart Fulfillment Services’ (WFS) business. In this role you will shape the defect reduction strategy, delivering solutions that ensure customers get the high-quality items they expect. Not only will you safeguard the customer experience, but you will also drive meaningful improvements to the overall program P&L. The ideal candidate will have great problem-solving skills, will be extremely comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, and will have exceptional analytical skills (SQL, statistical modeling, etc.). If you are interested in building a new business from the ground up and solving large and impactful problems at scale then this role could be for you.

Essential Functions:

• Owns complex projects end-to-end for a business area, category or prototype.
• Manages risk associated with implementation. 
• Develops data models (algorithms, approaches) for complex projects within a business area or category to drive business results and value. 
• Collaborates with project team to implement modeling solutions. 
• Leads the development and execution of advanced analytics to address unique business and technical problems, and support data-driven decision making. 
• Makes strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership based on analysis results. 
• Partners with senior leadership in Analytics to develop and implement data analysis strategies and anticipate future trends and analysis. 
• Coaches team members and provides feedback to enhance skills, knowledge and work performance. 
• Maintains team motivation and engagement. 
• Mentors Advanced Analytics Specialists.

experience in data analytics or related field.
