About the Position

Our Global Talent organization is transforming to meet the needs of the future of retail, ensuring that Walmart is that place in which people can grow their careers, and our organization ensures the best experience for the talent we manage and optimal service to the business. Our Global Talent, in partnership with the broader Global People organization and the business, is focused on delivering a talent marketplace - holistic, end-to-end capability that drives talent movement and momentum for every career entry and pivot point at Walmart.  This effort will enable our 2.3M associates to discover opportunities that match their experiences, skills, and aspirations, and will enable our business to understand and discover talent at Walmart, the world’s largest talent pool.

As the Senior Manager II, Change Management, you will work collaboratively with the Senior Director, Talent Marketplace, and cross-functionally across Global People, Walmart’s segments, and UX, Product and Engineering to ensure the delivery of the three-year roadmap for Walmart’s talent marketplace. 

The ideal candidate for the role will be a highly collaborative, pragmatic, and solution-oriented leader who can think strategically about how to enable change and convert that into a delivery plan. You’ll make an impact by…

  • Develop and deliver the change management strategy for enabling a talent marketplace at Walmart, including designing and tailoring the strategy for the needs of a variety of different audiences and users across our Home Office and Field associates, as well as Walmart’s multiple segments
  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives and recommending specific action plans to drive delivery
  • Manage the implementation and support for the change management strategy and impact initiatives in partnership with the Senior Director, Talent Marketplace and cross-functional teams
  • Develop strategic communications across the business to inform, influence and engage on the talent marketplace strategy, including communications to the HR executive team
  • Directs needs analysis to identify areas that require support in driving change by developing processes and overseeing implementation of projects that create high impact in need areas
  • Execute reporting strategies and key performance indicators; leverage data and insights to suggest and execute improvements to improve the effectiveness of the strategy
  • Identify the behavior and cultural changes needed to deliver the initiative, both on project teams and the broader business; put practical plans in place to drive change
  • Manage education and awareness initiatives for senior leadership; and executing continuous improvement cycles based on feedback from stakeholders.
