ABOUT THE TEAM:

The Consolidation and Reporting Team is responsible for the consolidation and review of the financial results of all of our global operations, as well as the reporting of financial results to the Securities and Exchange Commission.  The team is also the owner of several master data elements that are crucial to the accurate consolidation and reporting of our monthly financial statements.

ABOUT THE POSITION – INTRODUCTION:

The Consolidation Team works with various teams across the organization in order to ensure that our financial results are complete and accurate for both internal and external reporting.  The team is responsible for SOX controls for key areas of the financial statements, reporting to leadership on the statement of cashflows, equity and other comprehensive income as well as reporting key financial metrics about our close and consolidation process.  The team is also the owner of key master data (such as Global Chart of Accounts and Legal Entity) that are foundational to accurate reporting of our financial statements for both internal and external reporting.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…

• You have had previous master data experience in an organization with a complex accounting and reporting systems
• You have previous consolidation experience.
• You have experience with foreign currency and International reporting.
• You have retail experience.
• You have experience in SAP, HFM (or other consolidation tools) and tools such as Wdesk, Tableau and Power BI.
• You have proven experience reporting in compliance with SEC guidelines and US GAAP.
• You have demonstrated technical accounting experience.
• You drive results with strong financial acumen and technical/analytical capabilities.
• You have a great eye for detail and can articulate points in a simplistic approach.
• You’re organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• You’re a master at making complex subjects easily understood.
• You have high standards and can hold project contributors accountable.
• You are a change agent and are adaptable.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Participating in the governance around key master data elements, including additions and modifications
• Reviewing and reporting on key elements of our master data.
• Participating in various initiatives such as implementation of a new SAP financial reporting system as well as a new consolidation system.
• Enhancing our procedures to add efficiencies in the monitoring of several of our key master data elements working cross functionally with various business partners.
• Presenting to leadership on a monthly basis financial close metrics for key elements of our master data.
• Strong internal controls knowledge, including preparing and reviewing SOX internal control documentation including leading walkthroughs with Internal and External Audit.
