This role will be a key member of the Marketplace Partner Payments team leading financial operations strategy & performance as well as associated quantitative analysis & measurements
Lead seller payment operations strategy working closely with Seller operations, business leads, product and other teams. Be the key liaison between business and operations translating business initiative and requirements into Operations process/ workflow
Manage prioritization, resource allocation and capacity needs in working with Business and Seller Operations
Manage and streamline key processes to create efficiency, reduce errors/escalations and help marketplace seller payments scale. Identify opportunities for simplification and automation.
Build quantitative measurements to assess Operational performance and seller resolution experience. Identify and lead initiatives to improve key metrics.
Be the voice of the seller in working with cross functional team and drive right balance between risk and seller experience
- Own the roadmap around automation and scaling. Collaborate cross functionally with product, legal , trust & safety, performance, and other business teams to drive roadmap success
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in Business, Statistics, Computer Science or similar field required
5+ years of industry experience preferably in Payments, Financial Services, Financial Operations or similar space
Understanding of the payment vendors, payment risk, billing workflows, working capital providers, and associated competitive landscape preferable
Ability to work with cross functional teams and prior experience working with Product and Operations teams; proven ability to influence internal / external partners and provide clear actionable insights
Advanced knowledge of SQL and working with large datasets
High proficiency with Excel based data analysis
Experience driving projects toward clear business goals, testable hypotheses and action-oriented outcomes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
