About The Team/Position

Our team leads the FP&A and finance activities for marketing and advertising stakeholders. The Senior Manager II, Marketing Finance will be the finance partner to Walmart Connect (the digital advertising team for Walmart properties). We support major marketing initiatives, and the finance business partners in service to their executive leaders. The Marketing Finance department focuses on data-driven innovative solutions to strive for automation and simplicity to enable digital-efficient financial story telling. The Senior Manager II Marketing Finance will support the team's key activities of FP&A, Data Analytics, and Finance Strategy.

• Supporting Marketing Finance LRP & AOP Financial Planning - Partnering across all functional business partners and aligning across the organization and senior leadership as we set both short-term and long-term financial plans

• Operating with Excellence - Delivering solutions that work right the first time, align to company values and objectives, providing accurate submissions and reporting to leaders, and meeting established criteria while continuing to develop yourself and others

• Providing Strategic Input to the Financial Planning Process - Preparing financial analysis and modeling; recommending future expense targets; and planning and analyzing business performance in partnership with cross-functional areas

• Anticipating Risks - Staying connected to the process and data and identifying speed bumps before they materialize

• Problem Solving - Identifying root cause of issues and designing and implementing solutions that provide process enhancements and effective controls to minimize risk

• Adapting Quickly - Giving fast and accurate assessment of new challenges, new business relationships and changing situations in a dynamic and rapidly developing environment

• Producing Compelling Insights - into business expectations as plans are developed and strategic direction is discussed to accelerate process improvements

• Leveraging Tools & Channels - as we lean into digital transformation to drive rolling insights across multiple levers and building on machine learning opportunities

• Organizing the Team - Using your organizational skills to help the team rally around ideas and executing against complex initiatives more efficiently

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience
i n accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year's supervisory experience.
