Job description

  • Lead cost discipline work across business functions through efficiencies, controls, and cost reductions.
  • Identify key expense drivers and develop performance metrics for individual functions; utilize benchmarking, research, and analysis to identify expense efficiency and best practice opportunities; complete ad hoc analysis & reporting requests; develop creative solutions and negotiate with stakeholders to achieve best outcomes.
  • Provide overall expense subject matter expertise for Multi-Year-Plan and Annual Operating Plan, which includes forecasting, analysis, detailed bottoms-up plan development, comprehensive variance analysis, identification of trends, gaps, opportunity areas within the business, possible course corrections, and report out to business and finance leaders.
  • Work cross-functionally with business owners, finance support teams, and procurement to develop and execute strategic pipeline of cost disciplines across SG&A, Capital, and COGS initiatives.
  • Support special projects that require an additional level of expertise by working with other corporate finance team members; interacting with divisional finance support teams; managing system updates with Information Systems Division; and communicating project results company wide.
