Summary

The Senior Manager II, Procurement Strategy is a critical thought-leadership role that uses skills and knowledge in sourcing, project management and stakeholder alignment to tell our story, while leading a world-class procurement organization. This includes researching and executing strategies to develop best-in-class people, processes, and tools for the GNFR (Goods Not for Resale) Procurement team.

An ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of procurement and industry leading processes and tools. The role will help execute procurement initiatives including but not limited to supplier strategies, supplier relationship management, category strategy development, supplier diversity and sustainability. 

This role will also drive monthly reporting of KPIs and savings goals and hold Global Procurement teams accountable for delivery of goals. Additionally, the role is responsible of executing training plans for the Global Procurement team. Additional experience building spend analytics tools and other core procurement tools is preferred.

Key attributes of a successful candidate include driving change management, influencing up and across matrixed organizations, creating the case for change, driving accountability and delivery against goals. Structured thinking and the ability to take complex problems, break them down and drive change is a must along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, technology, or related field and 4 years of experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field – OR 6 years of experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field and 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams/ projects

• 3 year of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects

• 2 years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience

• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills

• Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency
