As aSenior Manager II, Product Development-PLM your ability to think strategically, grasp concepts and make connections quickly will enable you to accelerate the development of the private brand team's product lifecycle management tool (PLM), fully capitalize on its scale advantages and drive meaningful improvements.
By leveraging your ability to cut through complexity to simplify and execute in a rapidly-changing retail environment and your passion to bring people together to solve complex problems you'll make a direct impact on the private brand team's ability to deliver the best quality product at the lowest cost and help families all over the world save money and live better. The GMPrivate Brand Team is guided by the principle of Exceed Our Customers' Expectations with a Superior Value Proposition that Builds Trust and Loyalty. Private brand is a strategically important business to Walmart in that it drives customer loyalty and traffic.
You'll be responsible for the product development tools the private brand team utilizes to deliver assortment excellence, win on price, and create the best omni customer experience.
What you'll do
As aSenior Manager II, Product Development-PLM,you will engage collaboratively with cross functional stakeholders and end-users across private brand, global tech and supplier teams to clearly define business needs and build the time-bound PLM development roadmap accordingly. You will provide monthly progress updates to the PLM Steering Committee which is made up of cross functional leaders across private brand, product development, quality/technical, packaging, and global sourcing. You will know the PLM tool better than anyone else and will be constantly thinking of ways the tool can simplify and streamline private brand team's product development processes.
