Senior Manager II – Specialty Tax
Want to utilize your tax experience to provide guidance and value creating opportunities to our business partners? The Senior Manager II – Indirect Tax Controversy role will allow you to integrate across the business to drive favorable audit results and minimize risk.
This role will play a key part in transforming our audit capability as we look at new ways to manage our audits effectively and efficiently. The role will assist in the implementation and execution of audit plans; framing, interpreting, and responding to tax authority requests; and the creation and negotiation of audit strategies to advocate Walmart’s best interests. The role will also be collaborating with key stakeholders to identify refund opportunities within the audit process. To be effective, the role will need to develop strong relationships with taxing authorities to resolve outstanding audit issues.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, income tax compliance, payroll tax, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, income tax compliance, payroll tax, or related area. 2 years’ supervisory experience.
