About the Team
The Global IT Asset Management team enables and protects Walmart by gaining visibility into and management of our corporate IT assets. By managing the lifecycle of our IT assets, we enable cost management, increase agility, and reduce risk. You will have access to the best and latest tools, will work with teams who are challenged to grow beyond the traditional inventory of assets, constantly innovating to redefine the future of IT Asset Management.
You will work daily with our Global Sourcing, Legal, IT Operations, Information Security and International IT Teams with locations in the US, Canada, Mexico, Central America, Chile, Argentina, China, Japan, India, and the UK. Innovating on the world's largest stage, you will deliver customer-centric solutions for some of our most strategic initiatives. This is that place. This is Walmart.

You'll make an impact by:
- Building a services-based software asset management (SAM) practice with a focus on enabling and protecting Walmart by leveraging IT Asset Management lifecycle data
- Gathering requirements and developing software / hardware asset reports for internal customers
- Helping to develop strategies to reduce cost and ensure team executes plans
- Working with Global Sourcing, vendors, business groups and IT Operations to address and resolve complex issues associated with software licensing
- Driving strategy, presenting to executive level stakeholders and senior level management, developing and executing a plan of action for compliance sensitive scenarios
- Optimizing the software portfolio using a combination of innovation and best practice software lifecycle methodologies

Minimum Qualifications...
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or related field
- 6 years' experience in product management or related field OR 8 years' experience in product management or related field.
- 2 years' experience building and leading high performing teams.
- 4 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications...
- Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Computer Science, Masters: Engineering
- Proven track record of successful IT Asset Management initiatives with measurable and significant business impact
- Consulting and advising business partners utilizing detailed analysis
- Gathering, identifying, defining, and communicating requirements
