Gift Card Sr Manager Walmart Treasury – Emerging Payments
Drive and support the growth of the Walmart Gift Card business in omni-channel B2C and B2B channels.
Lead large scale, cross-functional projects, providing guidance and direction to both internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to project manage under multiple disciplines, e.g., agile, waterfall, etc. Engage with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., technology, call centers, merchandising, marketing, legal, compliance, vendors, etc.) associated with the gift card business to identify opportunities and close gaps in processes.
Lead discussions with Merchants and Marketing to build engagement with the Walmart Gift Card program.
Ensure all standard operating procedures and training materials related to the Walmart Gift Card program are accurate and relevant.
Participate in preparation for annual Gift Card Program Board of Directors meeting.

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects for Walmart Treasury by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Manages project plans to meet sales, income, and unit volume forecasts across all applicable channels and platform distribution points for Walmart Gift Cards by collaborating with cross-functional partners (for example, Operations, Marketing, Information Systems Division, Finance) to execute implementation activities and timelines; reviewing existing programs and processes and making recommendations for improvement; and implementing corrective actions to prevent or correct potential negative business impacts.
Manages the execution of existing projects, processes and activities across Walmart US by managing the day to day business; leveraging data and analytics to gather, understand, and report on performance to identify key insights to enhance the overall program growth; and supporting ongoing relationships and activities with partner providers to execute sales and marketing programs.
Drives the Walmart US gift card business by developing operating plans leveraging innovative proposals; managing and analyzing ideas and solutions and assessing their viability to the business; and leading teams Walmart US and cross-functional partners (for example, Operations, Marketing, Information Systems Division, Finance) in the successful execution of plans for the business.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.
Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with internal and external business partners, leadership, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field and 4 years’ experience in financial services, retail analytics, retail finance, or related area
OR 6 years’ experience in financial services, retail analytics, retail finance, or related area.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
