Senior Manager II, Walmart Services - Credit Card Product Development

Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. What you'll do...
Developing, monitoring, and managing credit card product specifications through the product lifecycle to ensure customer needs are exceeded. Partnering with internal and bank partner cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and under budget. Ensuring that products align with merchandising strategies by guiding the creative direction for new products; collaborating with merchants and providing advice and direction regarding product needs to drive financial performance; tracking performance metrics to ensure alignment with goals. Collaborating with and updating internal and external partners to determine product needs, drive initiatives, resolve issues, and ensure alignment; conducting industry benchmarking to identify product details, specifications, and trends. Identifying potential issues during the product lifecycle; performing root cause analysis and communicating findings; recommending solutions to resolve issues. Overseeing the execution of large-scale, complex projects, work streams, and programs by managing and modifying associated Credit Card project plans. Managing implementation of key objectives and activities related to product strategies by conducting research to gain insight into current and future customer needs; analyzing data to determine impact to the business; aggregating research information to provide business intelligence; benchmarking within the industry; and making recommendations to senior leaders on new or enhanced product offerings. Creating and managing task timelines; formatting and maintaining project data; organizing and facilitating communication materials to ensure successful store rollouts and online implementations Identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing solutions and contingency plans for issues that have been escalated Adjusting direction based on project evaluation; and managing budget and approving expenditures for assignments where required. Lead and participate in regular meetings to engage internal and external teams on customer KPIs and qualitative feedback and present regular action-driven plans to influence and facilitate decision making. Build executive level decks to effectively communicate insights and the state of the projects to leadership and business partners. Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating the effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives. Consult with business partners and key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness. Limited / infrequent travel is necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position. Limited / infrequent travel domestically to and from multiple facilities or work sites requiring consecutive overnight stays.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in contract negotiation.
- 4+ years of experience in forecasting, financial services planning, market analytics, or related field.
- 4+ years pf experience in product or service development.
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (for example, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 4+ years of experience with cross-functional project management.
- Any retail operations or retail management experience.
- Masters degree in business administration or related field.
