The Senior Manager of Applied Behavioral Sciences is a critical role focused on understanding human behavior so that we may improve the customer experience.
The role responsibilities include addressing complex consumer needs and insights by leveraging behavioral sciences, psychology, and research. You will be expected to create learning plans that define and execute against business needs and opportunities.
Identify behavior and desired outcome
Assess knowledge landscape including existing research or studies
Lead research (qual and quant) that uncover innermost needs and motivations
Design, execute, and analyze informed experiments aligned to desired behavior
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Marketing Research or a related field with 4-8 years of job experience or a Masters/PhD in same fields with 2 years of experience.
You excel in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques and are comfortable executing research yourself or through a vendor partner.
You are educated on behavioral science principles and can apply theories to execute experiments.
You have some experience with alternative research methods that may include eye-tracking, neuro, or elicitation techniques.
You are comfortable planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research.
You are collaborative and work well cross-functionally with peers and business partners
You have confidence presenting to senior executives.
You are an engaging storyteller and communicator, able to speak fluently to business partners including designers, engineers, merchants and other stakeholders.
