As a part of Walmart’s Product Organization, you’ll be part of the team that creates the digital products, services and platforms that help millions of customers save money and live better and equip 1.3 million associates with the tools that empower them to do their jobs, effortlessly. Walmart is investing in a best-in-class customer membership experience with Walmart+. To support this, we are in the process of building out the Product team and are looking for an experienced Product managers who can help shape and define our product roadmap and strategy. This is an opportunity to be part of building something transformational from the ground up, backed with the stability and scalability that the Fortune 1 company can provide.  

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Product Governance

    • Help create frameworks and operationalize them to improve the quality of products, revenue and customer/member retention
    • Support/build new Ways of Working & Change Management processes for Domain Transformation. Become change agent for the new WoW
    • Develop, define and operationalize Product Development best practices (PDLC & other processes)
    • Collaborate with Product , Engineering, UX and Program teams for roadmap execution and status reporting across various domains
    • Support Leadership on developing program level OKRs, Executive Reporting, Weekly Reports, MBRs and QBRs, Product Reviews, and other Product meetings
    • Support Capabilities management (owners identified, check ins, etc.,) and support governance processes across products and capabilities
  • Product Portfolio Support 

    • Support management/ leadership to evolve with Annual & Quarterly Roadmaps and Planning to arrive at roadmaps
    • Review and simplify the current processes for building annual and quarterly roadmaps or create new processes
    • Create templates, frameworks and processes required to manage and maintain the portfolio practices
    • Collaborate with Product, UX, Program and Engineering for roadmap prioritization and process standardization
  • Product Operations

    • Monitor, track and report the Product Wins and the impact created
    • Help adopt any tools and processes required by the organization -> cross functional collaboration
    • Process standardization and drive operational efficiencies using continuous improvements
    • Collaborate as needed for Customer Issues - CAP & Other Issues
    • Support Leadership as needed (OKR, Leading ad-hoc, short term projects and meetings, etc.,)
    • Create/maintain document repositories (Confluence, One Drive), Templates for standardization

You’ll sweep us off our feet if…

  • You are able to translate product strategy into detailed specifications, making functional and user interface design tradeoffs, managing product launches and owning the product successes post-launch.
  • You are an empathetic partner to customers and proactively anticipate requirements, influence and guide team towards building appropriate solutions.
  • You are an innovative thinker and able to synthesize data from multiple sources (including analytics, user research, operations research, and design) to identify key unmet needs and solutions that can address the needs.
  • You are data-driven and analytical to draw insights from current product performance to deliver on key user metrics.
  • You have the ability to work with large number of cross functional teams to make the vision of the product successful.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Governance and Operations, Product Management, Program Management, Process Improvement/ Tech Operations
  • Good knowledge of Product & Program management processes, best practices, SOPs, Agile/Lean methodologies
  • Strong Knowledge of MS Office (PPT & Excel to be specific), JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, OneDrive
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to drive relevant, actionable output from cross functional teams
  • Ability to influence and help drive teams/individuals for the deliverables without authority
  • Ability to interact with senior leadership, peers and business customers effectively as needed
  • Ability to build relationships and trust for effective collaboration with cross functional teams
  • Customer-centric & curious Team Player – Passionate to improve the member experience
  • Flexible and adaptive in ambiguous environments
  • Good knowledge of eCommerce, retail and membership based operations is a big plus
