Senior Specialist, Operations - WEC

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

• Defines and designs Walmart.com Operations processes (for example, supplier interaction, monitoring tracking information) by improving day-to-day execution of processes; collaborating with cross-functional partners (for example, Merchandising, Engineering and Distribution Centers) to solve complex, short- and long-term problems and ensure the needs of the customer and business are met through process execution; providing external partners with operational information, requirements, and performance measurements; and communicating with external partners to ensure compliance with the Walmart.com operational requirements.
• Executes process improvement and cross functional projects for Walmart Operations to completion by identifying areas of continual process improvement and improved operational efficiency; driving special projects by leveraging knowledge to solve problems and generate enhanced sales, reduce expenses, and improve customer experience; providing insight for project scope; communicating expectations to relevant parties; and driving progress and ensuring timely completion.
• Researches and resolves issues for Walmart.com Operations by generating and reviewing exceptions reports; identify root causes of issues and exceptions; identifying and implementing solutions that drive sales and reduce expenses; directing and supervising cross-functional resolution efforts; driving and ensuring the timely resolution of problems and resolution external partners; and escalating complex issues to manager.
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
• The Senior Operations Specialist, Reverse Logistics will be responsible for managing Vendor Returns relations, training and execution.
• You will support the ecommerce Reverse Logistics operations, focused on executing the business process for reviewing and adjusting Supplier agreements as part of the onboarding process for new suppliers and our expanding assortment.
• This role will also work closely with Merchandising and Supplier Administration in order to ensure an end-to-end business process that minimizes errors and streamlines execution.
• This role may require Returns Center and Supplier on-site visits, and good collaboration between many teams, including Merchandising, Suppliers and Return Center Operations spanning from multiple locations. 
• The Senior Specialist is expected to execute and meet deadlines through a keen attention to detail and clear communication with cross functional business partners.
