As a Technical Program Manager On The Team

  • You’re a data-driven, strategic problem-solver at heart
  • You have a knack to build consensus and alignment across different models, varying priorities and multi-disciplinary, yet integrated teams.
  • Have the ability to step in to lead critical projects across geographies based on emergent business needs as well facilitate early discussions to scope new projects.
  • You constantly seek to as establish and lead operating processes and tools for effectively managing the portfolio.
  • You lead technical discussion with conviction, be a subject matter expert and have strategic influence. Experience and deep understanding of software development methodologies and principles (including SDLC, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, Agile Principles, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe))
  • You should effectively plan and lead the engineering team delivery and report on team's delivery with metrics (code coverage, velocity, software quality, etc.)
  • Partner with product, engineering, design and stakeholders to manage dependencies, define schedules, and drive alignment. Understand service interdependencies and lead cross-functional teams towards technical solutions.
  • Establish goals and metrics to identify opportunities to deliver customer solutions to cost, performance and schedule requirements.
  • Define, monitor and improve critical to success metrics for the success of these programs
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.

Your Qualifications

  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech with 5 - 8 years of total experience, and 4 years of experience in Agile Scrum and in Technical Program Management
  • A strong tech foundation in Software engineering, hands-on techie in software product environment in various roles in diverse technologies with a deep understanding of architectural paradigms, design patterns, infrastructure, public cloud, platform engineering.
  • Techno-management capabilities and have delivered complex technical programs
  • Excellent Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
  • Solid understanding of the current web technologies and ability to ramp up and go deep.
  • Deep understanding about product features, architecture, and capabilities with innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous and rapidly-changing startup environment
