What you'll do...
This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at the largest retailer in the world. This will be a temporary assignment for potential to last up to 1 year. The role will be a part of our Global People Department specifically in our Compensation area. This individual will will help the with special auditing projects. This role is also eligible to work remote. Conducts compensation analysis by compiling wage data from multiple data sets; analyzing and explaining variances; preparing and validating reports; providing recommendations to support business objectives; communicating results to leadership; and developing compensation models for assessing the impact of proposed changes to compensation programs. Provides customer service on compensation issues by researching and responding to associate, supplier, and other customer questions, concerns, and requests; and advising associates on the interpretation and application of company compensation rules, policies, and guidelines. Contributes to the development of compensation policies and procedures by identifying ways to improve compensation controls and processes; identifying underlying causes of process inefficiencies; recommending changes to business plans to enhance reporting processes and policy execution; mapping processes for the development of new compensation systems; and educating associates to ensure compliance with updated processes and practices. Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 1 years' experience in finance, human resources, compensation, or relevant area OR 3 years' experience in finance, human resources, compensation, or relevant area. 2 years' experience in customer service, project management, or relevant area. The hourly wage range for this position is $15.63 to $26.68 *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Additional compensation in the form premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
