The Staff Data Scientist (ML Engineer) is a technical thought leader in Data Science practices, MLOps and HPC.
Responsibilities:
Defines MLOps processes and assists product teams with adoption
Qualifying new product business cases to ensure that proposed solutions will deliver required business benefits to clients
Collaborates with Product Managers, Data Scientists and other architects to design end-to-end Applied Intelligence solutions, including areas such as data engineering, advanced analytics, visualization, modeling, serving, observability, and operations.
Identifies innovative R&D approaches to solving major Machine Learning (ML) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) challenges
Design, develop, architect and deploy enterprise solutions
Employ AI/ML architectural knowledge DevOps standards to achieve Data Science objectives (e.g., developing a feature store, training/deploying ML models, etc.)
Implement standard DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, etc.)
Stay fresh in AI/ML technology in order to provide sustainable architectural mentorship
Recommend appropriate technologies/applications to enable strategic data management, model management, and risk considerations
Ensure platform is scalable, reliable, and performant
